Our commitment to your privacy

Amen is built on trust. Your prayer list is personal — it contains the names of people you love and the things you're believing God for. We take that seriously. This policy explains exactly how we handle your data.

What we collect

Amen stores all your data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your prayer list, the names of people you pray for, or any prayer content on our servers.

The only data we may collect includes:

• App usage analytics (anonymous, aggregated — e.g. how many sessions per day)
• Crash reports to help us fix bugs
• Purchase and subscription data processed by Apple or Google (we never see your payment details)
• A device or other identifier (such as a device or advertising ID), collected by our subscription provider RevenueCat to manage and restore your subscription and for basic analytics. It is not used for third-party advertising.

Daily prayer prompts

Amen's daily Scripture prayer prompts are generated entirely on your device from a built-in library of verses. No prayer content, names, or prompt data is sent to any external service.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. To manage and restore your subscription, RevenueCat collects purchase data and a device or advertising identifier. This data is processed on our behalf and is not used for third-party advertising. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Push notifications

If you enable daily prayer reminders, we use Expo's notification service to deliver them. No prayer content is included in the notification payload.

Children's privacy

Amen is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and notify you in the app.
